How much horspower? About tree fiddy.

So work has slowed to a crawl on the Camaro. I have gotten to the point where I need to get my air compressor lines ran in the garage. Once that is completed I can start getting the body prepped for paint.

Meanwhile; My daily driver SAAB 9000 was totaled on July 4th, and will be missed. I has now been replaced with a 2004 Pontiac GTO. I tried to find one in the more rare Cosmos Purple color but unfortunately every one that I found was either too far away or they wanted too much for it. However I was able to find a very clean Torrid Red example with only 39k miles on it. As usual though it wasn't exactly in my back yard, my wife and I made a day trip up to Cincinnati to pick it up. After about 3 months with the car I can say I am very happy with the purchase. The only additions I have added, is a Pioneer GPS head unit with Sirius Sat radio, USB and Aux inputs to make the 50 mile drive to work a little more enjoyable and also the ability to plug in the portable DVD player in for long trips. I don't have any other upgrades planned for now, the previous owner had a center gauge pod with vacuum and oil pressure gauges installed in addition to the upgraded exhaust, which sounds completely bad ass I might say.

Time for pictures of the new ride.

The Blog

Hello all,

I'm starting this blog to mainly keep track of my projects, toys and anything that peeks my interest. The first project I'll start posting will be updates on my 1991 Camaro RS that I am in the middle of restoring. I have been posting my progress on the Thirdgen.org site, but wanted to branch out to a place where I could post all my projects and things that I find interesting, like this site I found to decode VIN numbers for GM cars. Compnine.com it was pretty cool seeing how rare, or in my case how common my car combination was.

Thanks,
Aaron
